POLK SENIOR GAMES ELECTS NEW DIRECTORS AND OFFICERS

Five new Directors and Officers for the 2012 - 2013 year of Polk Senior Games were elected at the April Board meeting of the organization. New board members are Irene Prewitt, Stephen Mann, Cindy Dulin, Rodger Ricks and Carrie Laidler. Members of the Executive Committee are President Rudy Gittens, 1st Vice President Bud Hollowell, 2nd Vice President Dick Cheney, Secretary Duane Hopkins, Treasurer Jean Eissman, Past President Dee Oeters, Member at Large Larry Powell, Member at Large Rob Mason and Event Coordinator Bill Hanna. Other returning board members are Jim Barry, Theresa Bright, BJ Brock, Bob Brooks, Frank Brooks, Jim Corbeil, Marlene Corbeil, J J Corbett, Dawn Cornell, Gary Cornell, Diane DiMonaco, Johanna Emory, Marie Gouldsbury, Helen Grieshaber, Chuck Gugino, Jodie Gwinn, Mimi Hardman, Sandy Jones, Tom McLaughlin, Rich Mellock, Beverly Mitchell, Tom Mizell, Grace Page, Joan Pendry, Ron Shultz, Chris Sikes, Chas Smith, Susan Smith, Larry Smucker, Linda Smucker, Betty Stephens, Nancye Thornberry, Howard Wiggs, Helen Wiper, and Ann Wyant. Executive Director Deena Wilbur is returning for her 20th year with the Games. The 2013 Games are scheduled for February 23 – March 11.
